Tashan Coal Company Appointed as One of the First Batch of National Green Mining Pilot Units by China's Ministry of Land and Resources |

| The first board of directos meeting of the 5th China Mining Association was held on Nov. 20, 2011. At the meeting, Wang Jiahuang, executive vice president of the association, awarded the Tashan Coal Company of the Datong Coal Mine Group an inscribed plaque "First National Green Mining Pilot Unit." The appointment of pilot units aims to bring in more green mining among the mines and promote an all-rounded development of green mining through positively fulfilling various duties and obligations in the green mining efforts. The first batch of 37 national green mining pilot units hail from six major industries: coal, ferrous metal, non-ferrous metal, gold, chemicals and building materials. |
